Directions

The Nanaimo ferry terminals are services from Horseshoe Bay and Tsawwassen from the lower mainland. You can call BC Ferries toll free at 1-888-223-3779 or visit them online at www.bcferries.com. Reservations highly recommended.

By Ferry

Pearl Point Beach House is located in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada . We are 15 minutes south of Courtenay or 2 kilometers north of the Denman Island ferry and new Island Highway connector. We are accessible by car, by air or by water, whichever your mode of transport may be.

We are located about two and one half hours north of Victoria and one hour north of Nanaimo. Take the new inland highway (highway #19) through Nanaimo to exit #101. Watch for Royston, Union Bay and Buckley Bay Sign. This is also the (Denman Island and Hornby Island Ferry Terminal). Take this exit and travel about 1 kilo.to the intersection at the Petrocan and the ferry terminal. Turn left or north on the Oceanside route (Hwy19A) and travel about 2 kilo. Watch for the Pearl Point Beach House sign on water side. If you have an extra 15 min, take the scenic, old island highway 19A from Parksville through Qualicum Beach, Bowser, Fanny Bay. 

By Vehicle

The Comox Valley Airport is serviced daily by Pacific Coastal Airlines (a division of Air Canada). Pacific Coastal can be reached by visiting their website at www.pacific-coastal.com or by calling toll free at 1-800-663-2872 or you can call Air Canada directly for longer flights at 1-800-663-3721. 

Additionally WestJet Airlines flies in directly from Edmonton and Calgary daily. You can call them toll free at 1-800-538-5696 or visit their website at  www.westjet.com.

Thank you for booking at Pearl Point Beach House! 

The cost of your stay has been processed through VRBO/HOMEAWAY, however, the person booking is responsible for any damages caused to the Beach House. This includes, but is not limited to, the furnishings and fixtures, missing inventory, and property damage. The guest is further responsible for extraordinary cleaning costs, the determination of which is at the sole discretion of the Pearl Point Beach House management. These costs will be charged to the credit card detailed herein. 

Please also note that failing to adhere to our 6 person maximum occupancy and/or our no pets policy may result in immediate eviction and/or charges to your credit card at the discretion of management.

Activities

There is no shortage of things to do when you visit the Comox Valley. There are numerous attractions nearby that include; hiking, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, whale watching, nature tours, boating, sailing, skiing, golfing, kayaking, scuba diving, cave exploration (Horne Lake), mountain biking, camping, dig clams and oysters and much much more. We are only 2km away from the ferry terminal to Denman Island and Hornby Island.

We would also like to mention our fantastic art galleries, artist studios, theatres and cultural scene with numerous events throughout the year. Weekly Farmers' Market and garden shows are exciting as is the testing the local seafood or even buy your catch from the wharf. As well there are numerous restaurants offering fine dining, fresh local seafood and produce; and local wineries such as Coastal Black Estate Winery and Beaufort Winery.

Exploring the Comox Valley is an ideal place to start any vacation away from home.
